November 7, 2009 Heather Mahoney PRESENTS James Howard This year’s event is dedicated to providing financial assistance for Heather Mahoney and James Howard as they fight their battle with cancer. These are two fire service personnel that are in advanced stages of cancer and are undergoing treatment. These funds will be used to help cover only a portion of the mounting expenses that are not covered by the insurance company. A portion of the proceeds will also be directed to the not-for-profit organization the Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Benevolent Fund, Inc. This fund was developed to help those who have an enormous need for financial assistance, as well as time-off to deal with debilitating medical conditions.
